Somewhere in Paonia

Surrounded by mountains and nestled in the beautiful valley of Paonia, Colorado is the latest addition to the Solargon family. Owner Cindy Young is delighted to see her new octagon meditation space finally come together. Just 14 hours after the assembly crew began, this very efficient passive solar SIPs building was completed. It is set in an old cherry orchard and when the pink blossoms grace this dwelling in the spring I will return. Many thanks to the crew and Cindy for their help in making this a great building experience.

The morning went well and the crown beam assembly and some of the roof panel were installed.

Above the building is pictured with the shell completed and ready for interior and exterior finishings. To see the web album click here.
